As part of the exhibition Francesco Somaini. At the origins of the sacred, where a work recently found in the collections of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo is presented, the Foundation proposes a cycle of conferences aimed at summarizing in great summary some aspects linked to Francesco Somaini’s liturgical interventions in religious buildings, treated last February 19th during the study day held at the Veneranda Fabbrica.
In this second meeting, Dr. Valentina Raimondo (research fellow, University of Bergamo) presents the events linked to the creation of the great Descent of the Holy Spirit located on the facade of the church of the Santo Spirito in Bergamo, highlighting the particular aspects that have led to an interesting dialogue between ancient and modern.
On this occasion it is also possible to visit the current exhibition, accompanied by the curators.
